Family Photography in Downers Grove


Family life doesn't slow down. One minute you're rocking a newborn to sleep, the next you're chasing a fearless toddler, and before you know it, you're watching your teenagers tower over you. These seasons pass quickly, but the memories don't have to.


As a Downers Grove family photographer, my goal is to create photographs that feel like your family, genuine, joyful, and full of connection. Rather than focusing on perfectly posed smiles, I create space for your family to laugh, play, cuddle, and simply enjoy being together while I gently guide you throughout the session.


For nearly 20 years, I've had the privilege of photographing families throughout Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Western Springs, La Grange, Oak Brook, Elmhurst, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Plainfield, and the surrounding western suburbs. Whether we're exploring one of my favorite outdoor locations or creating something timeless in my welcoming downtown Downers Grove studio, every session is thoughtfully planned around your family.


From the moment you book, you'll receive personalized guidance every step of the way. I'll help you choose the perfect location, coordinate outfits, answer every question, and make sure you feel confident before session day arrives. My carefully selected locations are chosen for beautiful light, seasonal scenery, and an experience that allows children to move naturally and families to relax.


During your session, there is no pressure to perform or worry about whether your children will cooperate. Kids are meant to explore, giggle, snuggle, and sometimes even be a little silly. Those authentic interactions often become the photographs families treasure most. My job is to keep the session moving naturally while preserving the little moments you never want to forget.


After your session, you'll receive a beautifully edited online gallery where you can relive your family's story. From heirloom albums and artwork to digital images you'll share for years to come, every photograph is created with the hope that it becomes part of your family's legacy.
